Hallo everybody,
This is my latest finnished project.
My mother in law needed a hallway mirror because the old one has broken and she asked me to buiild her one.
All my available wood was 39 inches long and she wanted at least 47 inches tall.
The right shape was octogon becouse i could make it longer from 39 inches longer wood.
Learned something about polygon mitter cuts….....
After setting my new mitter saw at 22.5 degrees i learned that it is not so precised and the battle with the angles began.
This is practicaly the fourth try and stilll i had to remove from the bottom 5 mm as you can see in the third picture.
Used some spruce i had and oak varnish and laquer.
The top hides the mounting sinstem.
She was happy with it and that is all it counts.
Thank you for watching !
