I wanted to make my girl a ring for her birthday, and of course, I had to practice first. The first few ‘turned’ out nice, so I made several different flavors.
Then, people requested that I make more!
If anyone knows of a finish that is better/harder than General Finishes’ Wood Turners Finish, please, let me know.

CA glue finish it like people do a pen you could make a mandrel to mount them on with maybe a rubber stopper or something

Hey John. By coincidence I just posted my rings too. I used CA glue. very durable. If you wnat to knock the shine down just buff with 0000 steel wohl. Your rings look fabulous!

Thanks y’all! I must say, the General Finishes stuff is quite fantastic, but I was wondering if there was anything better. The guy who recommended the G.F. also suggested CA glue, however warned that it is prone to hairline cracks, especially if left in a hot car… and I live in Texas.
I’ll give CA glue a ‘turn.’
