This took much longer than it should have, and my step-daughter has been … gracious in her patience. But I finally got the pieces together and did a final fit this afternoon.

This is similar to an earlier project I did for my wife to make a small fold-away shelf for holding pitchers under the water filter container. This has been almost two years in the making, and much of that was getting over a period where I was unhappy with woodworking, and then getting interrupted by other projects.

But, now it’s done and ready to install.

As always, comments, suggestions, are always welcome.

Looks almost like a show piece. Especially with the knots in the center. Any idea about making it flush with the bench when down?
