My co-worker wanted a cutting board, and wanted her last name’s initial inlaid into it. Coincidentally, the “H” made it reversible. She is a culinary major, and knew exactly what she wanted so that part was easy! This is the first time I ever inlaid something, so that was a learning experience in and of itself.

very nice looking board! did you do the inlay by hand or with a router? i’m trying to figure out best way to do inlay like you did (i.e. big letters/symbols) by hand without a router.

Thanks Rukus! I tried my hand at doing it entirely with chisels. I had just taken delivery of some Narex chisels (Great bang for buck, BTW) and was itching to use them.
