I was asked to make a set of bookends with Mack truck hood ornaments. I used red oak. I used a round over bit on the edges. The stain is Minwax gunstock with a gloss poly over. This is a first for me. I’m pretty knew at woodworking but each new project inspires me to be better the next time.

Nice Will50, hope you were supplied with the Mac dogs, I’ve had friends go looking for them and been told they’re VERY expensive to buy !

Thanks racer. Yeah they were supplied. I was told they cost $80 each.
