Name plate for my wife's desk

My wife is a teacher. She mentioned awhile ago that she wanted a name plate for her desk. I whipped this up, and gave it to her as part of her Christmas present.

Its cherry with a cherry/maple/walnut bent lamination in the middle. The name is wood burned (my first attempt at wood burning) and it is finished with Arm-R-Seal.
