The first two are Pirate type chests, I used banding steel from work for the metal strapping that goes around. Just glued a piece of 2×4 to the top of the lid and went to town with my old Stanley to round it off. The last three are flat top type boxes fort he girls, they already have them filled with do-dads.

Great job rounding off. Love the steel straps. Lots of work with hand planes.

Very creative use of materials.
Yeah, I would have taken the easy way out…. and used the TS & my hand held belt sander!!!

Yes every kid should have a place to conceal their loot and these well conceived boxes fit the bill. Very nice work!
