Nicely done. I was toying with the idea of a similar shelf, but with just two vertical elements as opposed to the frame. After seeing your success I should really get after it. Thanks for sharing.

how are the shelves attached to the frames?

The frames have half-inch grooves that the shelves fit in. The section between the frames is flush to the wall
