This is my first attempt at making a end-grain cutting board. It is made from Walnut, Birch, & Purpleheart measuring roughly 11” x 17” and 1.5” tall. After treating it with mineral oil several times, I finished it off with a mineral oil/beeswax mixture.
I enjoyed making this so much that I then started on making 8 smaller (mini loaf) end-grain cutting boards for gifts for families in the neighborhood. I’ll post those shortly.

Looks great! I love the look of a nice and clean cutting board, and the color combo you went with is very appealing. Good work
