My wife and I took a woodburning class this past summer and here is the before and after picture. I had not done any woodburning since shop class in jr. high. I was happy with the turnout and had a great teacher for this project. Thanks.

Hi MShort, Nice burning. If I could draw, I’d do more of it. But I’ll stick to burning hair on ornaments. Can I suggest a little more shadowing around the stone walls. If I remember seeing those walls in real life they are darker with greater shadows between the rocks. I have to achieve the same in sand sculpting.

I have to admire the patience and eyesight involved. My wood burning is a fire when we go camping.
