When we moved to our new church location my pastor asked if I would build a new pulpit and I was honored that he asked me but was busy building my shop building. So fast forward a long time and I did it. I actually started it while I was doing the building but took a year off. I finished it this spring and delivered it. I brought it in during the week and didn’t say anything. It actually took him sometime to even notice it when he got there.
It is built from soft maple and ¾ inch cabinet grad birch plywood. I enclosed the back with a door so his wife would stay off of him how the cabinet looked. I think his favorite feature is the cup holder as he was all the time having to reach down to pick up his water cup on the old one. I am pretty happy with the turn out.

a very clean look, I really like the cross wish the pic showed it better, and the cup holder was a great touch.
