My wife wanted a rustic bench for a small space in your house. I made this from old white oak boards I found in a hay mow of a very old barn. The owner thought they were just “old barn wood” and had no clue that it was actually oak. After pressure washing off many years of dirt, grime and bat and bird guano I was happy to see that it was white oak. The finish is just General Finish Arm-R-Seal (3 coats).

Nice job on the bench. I like that you used wood you found to make it too.
