Made this table out of walnut. Bookmatched two 8/4 boards for the top. Legs are tapered on two sides. Four dovetailed drawers with hardware from Lee Valley. All mortise and tenon joinery done with bandsaw and hand tools. The top and drawers are chamfered with a block plane. Aprons are bookmatched so both sides are the same. Scratched beads in all the dividers and rails. Drawers are lined with paisley fabric that I like. Thanks to all you Lumberjocks. I consulted this site and the forums for pretty much every step of the project. Top is finished with 3 coats tried and true varnish oil then 2 coats wax. Base is 3 coats of BLO/poly/mineral spirit 3 part mix. The drawers have 3 coats shellac inside an out. This project was a great learning experience for me. I have a list of all the mistakes and things I would do differently next time. Thanks for looking.
