It looks like it’s designed to use with a slide. What kinds of wood did you use on it? Pre-built box, or build your own?

Its a regular old cigar box I picked up at the cigar store. The neck is a made from cherry. Im always grabbing pallets from work to keep firewood on and one was oak or so I thought. I took it apart and started milling down the rough lumber and the top slats of the pallet were cherry.Pretty much the only parts I bought were the tuners and pick up. Yes it is designed to play with a slide.

With only 3 strings you should be twice as good, right? :)
Curious about the tuning.
What did you come up with?

Im still playing around with the tuning. Right now its tuned to open D. Im gonna try a couple different tunings and slides. This is all very new to me but thats the fun of it. Gonna start another one real soon.
