Found a nice Parota crotch board at my local wood shop and immediately thought that it would make a nice cutting board. It is approximately 20” x 12” x 2”. Rubber feet with stainless screws have been added for stability. | |||||||

Looks fantastic. I was in Mexico on vacation and could not stop myself from a bit of lumber browsing. The Parota caught my attention enough that I hand carried a few small boards home. I am glad I did since I have never seen it again. I noticed some online vendors have it, but the fact that even Bell Forest Products doesn’t stock it suggests poor availability in the northern US.
