Tea Chest for Christmas

The Heir to the Galactic Throne….also know as Girl Child…. is and always has been a major tea drinker. For her, it is almost a ritual to brew tea and pile up on the couch with a book and a hot, steamy cup.

So this project is for her for Christmas. Large enough to hold what she needs. It is mahogany with copper top and trim. It did not come out quite like I wanted…too many mistakes to suit me. But I guess that is part of the craft. Anyway, The Queen of the Galaxy (AKA wife/mom) likes it so I guess it will be OK.

Attaboy, neighbor! A wise man to keep the Princess and Queen happy. I was with him when he got the copper cut, do I get brownie points?

Nice work, guy.

Nice work Kelvin, you will always be your worst critic… Its human nature buddy. Its a well thought out project and the copper is a nice touch. She will love it because you thought enough of her to build it….

The copper will age beautifully with all the hand use the tea box will get. You did a nice job. She will love it.

That did turn out nice. The accents and design work well.
