My wife wanted a movable kitchen island to aid her in making soaps, creams and lotions. I made this cabinet on wheels using oak plywood and oak wood for the face frame, door edges and racks. The granite top was added at the same time we added the granite counter tops. The racks on the back of the cabinet worked perfect for mason jars and smaller containers. All the joints are pocket hole and screws (and a wee bit of glue). Since our kitchen is kind of small it is great if we need to move it to another room when needed. So far it is a great asset to our kitchen.
