A couple of benches for grandchildren to sit on when they visit at Christmas. Hand cut dovetails there. The bigger bench has a compartment underneath with a sliding dovetail key. I’d type more, but I lost a big chunk of skin from one of my fingers last night. Careless accident with a bench sander. Western cedar. Arm-R-Seal. A few cut nails on the bigger bench. The spreader on the smaller bench is through-tenoned with a little piece of dowel holding it in place (flattened on one side with a bench sander … like my finger)

These are really nice I like the whole design but the compartment and dovetails make it a real stand out.
People don’t think about sanders being able to injure your self on ,but like all accidents it only takes a second to get a big ouch. Hope you heal quickly
