Spalted beech lidded box

Small lidded box made from spalted Beech, it was a nightmare to finish as the grain had torn out really bad on the inside and there were lots of chunks in the black bits that fell out so its far from perfect but suppose that’s how you learn. I still have a piece the same size to use up but it seems to dry to work with I may leave that until the end of the winter.
