This is a temporary grave marker I made for a good friend of mines mother who had just lost her long long battle with cancer. They could not get any grave stone or anything to mark it until late summer and asked me if there was anything I could do for them. I jumped at the opportunity to do it for her. She was having a tuff time with not having anything there, she said she feels a lot better about it now so that makes me happy. Made from cherry I cut off my land. I cut it in half cut the letters with the scroll saw painted the back part then glued it back together. I debated on posting this but decided I wanted to share it with you all. Thanks

Nice, very kind of you to take such time an effort.

These truly are the best projects. They mean so much more than a decoration or a piece of furniture. Beautiful work.

Thanks for sharing. I unfortunately find myself in similar need and am trying to find ideas. Hoping this undertaking (pardon the unfortunate pun) brings a little sanity to a trying time.

Have your say...
