Some more of my face carving. I like to use driftwood as it is readily available where I live, is free and can be the most wonderful medium to work on. It also keeps throwing up challenges like rotten spots, odd shapes etc that are fun to incorporate into the work. The only down side is the presence of sand and stones. I try brush out what I can but inevitably some remains embedded. It just means my knives need to be sharpened more often. In a bad case every 5 or 10 minutes. I give them a quick buff to restore the edge.
