The Grinch on the chimney.
_This is one of our favorites to make,
First he is hand drawn on 1/2 plywood, then he is cut with a jig saw or a band saw. Then he is hand painted and then sprayed with a clear protective coating. The spray we use is from the Home depot. We have pieces that are 10 years old and look brand new. We also include a pressure treated stake so you can display your lawn decoration.

Really cool….. love the Grinch.

one thought, you might look at MDO plywood. It has a super smooth surface…. basically plywood with a resin kraft paper face, that takes paint really well and still holds screws, and no grain shows on the face.

Very popular for outdoor signs. – - exterior rated.

Dr Dirt, Thank you very much. I will definitely look into that kind of Plywood. Thanks for the input.
