As is customary I have failed to properly document the build, but may I share the following:
- Leopardwood seat
- African Mahogany legs dyed black
- Leopardwood horizontal leg supports
I could not steam and bend the leopard wood for the seat so I “veneered” a 1/4” thick top to birch ply base, I sanded the seat depression in the base and glued the leopard wood to the seat base and surrounded with 3/4” thick leopard wood.
Legs are 2”X3” solid mahogany and dyed black using General Finishes dye stain.
Stool came out good and stout with all joints secured via Festool Domino.
