I have had a ball building this Armoire. I actually have had some challenges on it, but as you can see, I conquered them.
Made of Cherry, and a lot of it! I did find out that there is almost not a way, with this much Cherry, to match color. I didn’t want to chane it by darkening it so I finished with lacquer.
I put African Lace in the door panels as a highlight. I thought it really looked good and did not clash in color. I used Tigerwood for the pull out necklace holders.
Rather than using hinges, I chose to slide the doors, just to be different.
I used a wine valor on the drawers.
It is 30” wide, 21” tall and 9” wide. It weighs around 40 pounds.

I really looked at your pictures, and I think you did one heck of a job with the color. How about a side picture….

Well, as usual Duck, you are in fine form building boxes and this Armoire…..Beautiful job as always, my friend….I like the exotic woods that you use, also….I may have to try some exotics some day….The most exotic wood that I use is Purpleheart and Walnut…..Not so exotic, but they go nicely together…...Stellar job…..

Beautiful work! I assumed the doors were swinging doors until I saw the other photos.
Good storage for a lot of things!
