A few years ago we extended the house which is now split level. I needed bespoke steps going up and down. My wife fancied a wrought iron banister copied from an antique french design out of a lifestyle magazine. The only way to achieve this was to make it all as the cost would have been prohibitive.
The little door is our hobbit house which little people always check out. The violins on the wall are mine, one complete and one waiting for the varnish to harden before the bridge and strings are put on. The first photo is older and much of the woodwork is still to be painted. The second photo is more recent.

Those steps look great! I’m impressed with the handrail, too. Thanks for sharing.
