I wanted to 1. practice some glue ups and 2. try my hand at cutting boards.

I ran over to Dome Hepot and got the only two hardwoods they had (and not terribly hard, at that). I’ll probably end up keeping one of the bigger ones as a breadboard or something, give the rest away as gifts. I dont think my wood choice was ideal for proper “cutting board” activities. Anyways, it was fun to use the router for the roundovers, love that thing. Finished all of them in mineral oil.

Looks good. I should have practiced on some not so expensive wood myself for my first cutting board. Although, after comparing HD/Lowes prices to my hardwood supplier, i bet the oak/poplar ended up more expensive than walnut or similar at a dealer.
