This was a coat rack designed to maximize some unused space in a client’s restaurant. The lumber was a CL find; 1.125 inch red oak trim boards at 6” wide – planed down to 3/4 and ripped the routed detail from the board to use as edge-banding on the shelf part. The panel has copper composite I have saved from my last “real” job. It was all stained red mahogany and sealed with oil-base poly satin finish. The copper composite is also sprayed with 2 coats of satin oil-based poly
