Pretty cool Martyn. It looks lighted from the inside. Is it?

Martyn,
Wonderful. Seems to just “glow”. (Are you sure there isn’t a hidden light inside?) LOL Seriously, it’s an achievement. I foresee a whole series of layered boxes coming from Devon…. Nicely done.

It’s lined with a Sycamore (English) veneer which is very light in colour. No internal lighting used.

So nothing actually lies within and therefore it appears to lie about being internally illuminated.

This is a box that probably really needs to be seen in person to fully appreciate. It is eye candy online, but I am sure we are missing the full aspect of the texture and color.

Thank you for sharing your boxes and talent with us, your ideas and boxes just keep getting better.
The layered technique really does make it look like it is lighted from within.
