Not a project I ever wanted to do.

My Grandmother passed away recently and rather than the stock urn, I felt it only right that I make her resting place until she is scattered.

I only hope she likes it, otherwise I may get haunted!!

It was a cathartic process and unlike some other turnings, this one went without a hitch, not going to read anything into it but it went very smoothly.

Turned in sycamore with wire burn lines and 2 beads done with the skew.

Sorry for your loss, but I’m sure your grandmother loves this urn, a project steeped in love. Very nice skew work, great detail in the beads.

My condolences on the loss of your grandmother, and congratulations on crafting a fine tribute to her memory.
