This is a Kitchen Island I made for our new kitchen. The island is 66” x 36” x 34” made from red oak. I used a deep red stain from Sherwin Williams and a brush on lacquer finish. I had never used the brushed lacquer finish but I really liked it. I have used it several times since and is my favorite finish….depending on the project. I think it went well with the rest of the kitchen.

Really like the finish. Well done. Heck it would go well with the rest of anything.

I see that you have power on the island…did you run power up thru a leg ??
It looks great!

Kimosawboy, yes the power was run inside the leg. You were pretty observant to ask that question.
