I do not really have a ton of time to post my projects on here but this site is awesome. This bar is 25’ long with a solid Cedar 2’ thick bar top. The face of the bar is Pecky Cypress and has a solid cherry foot rail. All the materials used minus the frame work is from my local saw mill here in Floral City, FL. It still amazes me when i run the Cedar planks through the planer how the colors pop out at you. I have always loved woodworking and have always made a living doing it and a full time job (i work for the counties Aquatic division as a lead spray Tech I drive an airboat all day and take care of the counties 25,000 acre of water ways). I am almost to the point of being able to make woodworking my full time job. My new company is Old Floral City Woodworking Company. I have a website not sure if I can post it here though. Hope I havent bored you very much but thanks for reading and I look forward to any comments good or bad.

Your bar looks so cool. I have family in Florida so I recognize that you have your bar in the Florida room (screened in patio to everyone else). Love the set up and the pictures showing construction. Good choice of wood for your project. Wow.
