My last post here was a table built from an old singer sewing machine, this is a continuation from that same machine. These drawers hung on either side of the old cast iron frame of the sewing machine.
It took me awhile to figure out what to do with the drawers as they are somewhat odd in the measurement dept. When I finally decided to marry them together it was pretty straightforward.
Both sides needed some repair to the veneer and I was able to salvage the top lamination from the old top and cut and glue to fit.
All the moldings and the feet are walnut with the top made up of a few maple board died a darker color.
The top four drawers have a lock and I was able to make a key to fit.
The dimensions are 18.5” high/ 14.75” wide at the top and a depth of 17 ”
Thanks for looking.

Nice save on the drawers. They look like a pretty nice end table now!

That’s stunning. Very rich and elegant looking. The wood and finish worked well together! Nice job.
