I made these tables from Fine Woodworking Mag. article by Christian Becksvoort. I used cherry as in the article and followed the article to the letter the best I could except for the second table which was requested taller than the original. I carefully stretched the spindle in steps until the correct dimension was reached. they are finished in 5 coats of shellac.

Nice Job Ben, Very Elegant design. I’d say you did that set of plans justice and then some.

Nice worked as they both look great. I too made a table from cherry from that article. It turned out to be one of my best projects, though I don’t have that many to choose from.
