Wall street style pen made with bacote. Pen is finished with friction polish then a thin coat of Briwax. This is my first turning project I have done.

Very nice job.
Did you notice the smell of dill pickles?
That’s what bocote smells like to me.

I guess I was too distracted to realize the smell of the wood but I will certainly pay attention next time. I already have some big plans in the future for turning!
