Made this for my buddy/partner at Carolina Woodworks. He wanted it to be a show piece as well as functional and practical. He told me what he wanted as far as the design goes and I went from there with it.

Its a decent little lathe, I actually have a Rikon VS mini, but I have turned on this one as well. He had to replace the spindle lock “gear” and the speed sensing wheel, but that was because we used the spindle lock for the wrong reason. Overall it’s been great.

A nice looking lathe stand, I am a bit jealous. Did you have to add any hidden weight to keep it from walking while in use?
