I found a nice clear piece of figured Maple 16” wide X 12’ long at Keim Lumber that I knew would make a perfect cap for our knee wall to the lower level. Not a difficult project, but one that is highly visible so the finish was critical. Looks great and a nice contrast to the stone and surrounding logs.
So we now we have a little piece of Amish Country in our home in the Upper Peninsula of MI.

Does look very nice. Well done.
