Shopmade star knob

I made a star knob today for my router lift that I am busy with.
I used a hexagon template that I downloaded from the internet (Pic 2 ) and drilled holes in the sides (Pic 3)
I used a nut to clamp the knob’s nut holder (picture 4)

To sand the insides of the half holes I made a dowel sander and chucked it in my drill press.
