This is wedding gift box to hold our gift of cash for the young newlyweds. It is cherry and walnut. Box is made with lock miter joints and walnut dove tail corner key inserts. The box was wiped with boiled lindseed oil filled by a few layers of dewaxed shellac and finished off with a few coats of gloss water based Poly. It was then rubbed with waxed 0000 steel wool. The finish turned out fantastic. As you can see the BLO really made the brought out the best of the dark woods.

A very pretty little box. Will the money remain in the box?

Really nice box.
I’m sure it will be well-received.

Looks too good. Must be CGI. FAKE! Photoshopped!
or I’m jealous. Looks brilliant. Fine job after all those troubles you mentioned in your post.
