Recently I sent some pics to a cool, little artsy store in my town. The proprietor has some quirky stuff in there so I thought she might like some of my quirky boxes. But the only one she was interested was the simple, streamlined, black-stained maple box. She wanted to know if I had anymore like it. So, I made this yesterday at work (After I clocked out, people!). I had some scrap cedar and thought I’d give it a go. I will eventually line the bottom with some leather/cloth/whathaveyou to jazz it up. I finish-sanded it with 320 so it would be super smooth then brought it home and slathered on the paste wax.
It has a nice sheen to it and I am pleased.
later!
