Yew Goblet

This goblet is made from Yew and stands 7 3/4” tall and 2 1/2” at its widest point the rings are 3/16”.
The last picture is of the third ring that I broke off as I only wanted the two, I always cut an extra one in case of an accident if not then I select the worst one to be broken off. I turn the rings with standard tools and a couple of home made ones from Allan keys (Wrenches) as I do not own any of the ring forming tools

Very cleave workmanship Derek…. I was thinking you might have to “super glue” the ring back together on the goblet…..silly me….the timber is pretty…well done sir….

Nice piece of turning! I love working in Yew, such a beautiful wood!
