I made these doors for a friend. The family crests represent his parents and grandparents as well as his wife’s parents and grandparents. It should be an heirloom for years to come. The doors are 25” x 36” four panels each.
The carving was done with a CNC router and the door frames are made with traditional woodworking tools. The parts are joined with mortise and tenons and the panels are free floating.
