This maple slab, along with others in subsequent posts, has been in my shop for years and I finally got around to making a table with it. The top is maple with a combination of flame and birdseye figure. The legs are honey locust. Finish is several coats of linseed oil and wipe-on poly.

The beauty of the wood really shines through.

You have done it justice. Nice work.
