I had a lady ask if I could devise a wine holder that would mount in the wasted space above her kitchen cabinets that would hold several bottles. This is what I came up with. this particular one won’t work above cabinets because I added the glass holder. I drilled the holes at a slight angle to accomodate the wine bottles. The slab was pretty thick so I sliced off the back and used it for making the glass hanger. I inset keyhole hangers so they are a snap to hang. After a couple of prototypes I now make them so the hangers can be 16” apart to utilize the extra strength of wall studs when hanging. Great worm work on the wood gives each piece its’ own character. As always, finish is Spar Urethane.

I do like the looks of it!

I think some bark and live edges look very neat.
