Hello Lumberjocks!
This was my first project that i had started last summer and i have to say it was overwhelming at first considering i only had a few tools and little experience in woodworking. This was a project for a local community center and mosque. I had always been deeply interested in historical Arabic and Islamic architecture and saw this as an opportunity to gain experience in design and implementation. This interest developed during my childhood in Syria experiencing great monuments of old and the painstaking detail that went into each.

I started out with a miter saw, circular saw, and jigsaw at first. I then obtained some tools later on when i needed them.

here are some pictures i took during the process.

Overall it was an enjoyable project and i personally gained valuable experience throughout that process. There were many things that i would have done differently today if i had to do it over again. It also really got me hooked on woodworking and I have much more to learn from folks here and else where in the woodworking community.

Thank you

You are to humble. This is excellent work and attention to detail. I would say that you also have a lot to teach. Thanks for sharing this.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the kind remarks.
Freddy that saw is a rockwell bladerunner, it is really an upside down jigsaw and the first tool i bought. It got me started, however I quickly became frustrated with it as it does not do one thing well.
