This is one of my first woodworking projects from late 2012 and early 2013. I made one for my mother-in-law and one for my mother. Both of these are a take on the craftsman style wall mirror December 2009 Issue 186 in Woodsmith magazine. The square one is made of oak and stained using a combination of Medium Brown Dye stain, gel stain, and a topcoat of Waterlox original. The one with the arc on the bottom is made of walnut and is finished with Waterlox with a final coat of waterlox satin finish. I certainly enjoyed making them, and they both made good gifts to family.
