A friend wanted to me to make him a poker table. I bought some plans from woodcraft, which were actually just blueprints. They were not very helpful and i spent many hours trying to decipher how to do all the cuts and angles. I struggled with the legs as they needed to be removable. The original design wobbled too much, so i came up with my own design. It definitely won’t support anyone laying on it.
Most of the top is made from poplar and stained with some minwax stain (i forget what i used)and several coats of water based poly. I got the fabric and cup holders from a poker supply store online. My wife did the upholstery and it did have a bit of wrinkles. We tried to iron it, but it still remained.
Anyway, i don’t think i’ll be making another one any time soon as this was very difficult and time consuming. I have found several other designs on Lumberjocks that could make the process much easier. thanks for looking

Nice job. I attempted one a few years back and posted in my projects. Still in use, I think. Very similar to yours except I did folding legs for easy storage.
