This Pantry was made off of the top of my head as most of my projects are. By doing it this was I am not limited to what some one else thinks is the proper way to do something. Besides I have always marched to the beat of my own drum.

Nice cabinets, Larry. I tend to do my own design all the time too. I rarely use a plan from anywhere. I kind of design as I go. You have to post some of those lamps you made. I really like the one with the purple heart inserts. That gave me an idea that got the wheels turning!! You are like the newest newbie at 2 hrs!!

Cheers, Jim

The proper way to do this is to make drawers on the bottom instead of doors. :)
Now you can march to the beat of your drummer by standing on your head to find things shoved way in the back on the bottom shelf.
Sure looks like some nice storage to keep things handy and dust free.

A beautiful home for your tools.

IMHO, I would probably classify it as a hutch ( rather than a pantry. Pantry gives the impression that it mainly contains consumable items. So you might have a pantry for finishes, glues, sandpaper, wood, etc and a hutch for hand tools or portable power tools.

Looks like it is going to do the intended job just fine. So to bad if someone dosen’t like the design , after all it wasen’t made for them.

Have your say...
