I wanted to make a box that was 1. Square; 2. Used Splines and Mitered Joints; 3. Finished with an oil

Here It Is.

The box is primarily maple the inside being a piece of clear Rock Maple I had around from a bakers table

The Top is Birch, and the inside base is cork.

Its finished with 4 coats of Tung oil; 3 coats of Minwax RubOn Poly (Sanded Inbetween ea. coat); and 2 coat of Miwax Furniture polish
