Not my first project, but the first one that I was able to document fairly well and feel proud enough of the final product to share. I used a lot of idea from this site in the design so this is me giving something back! Frame is cheap-o “Big-box store” pine, the top is same quality plywood covered with felt. Nothing fancy here, but the intent was to build something sturdy enough to withstand several years of abuse but on a budget. The top is removable and eventually will look to have several other tops available depending on the activity.

I can see the train table giving years of pleasure, I’m sure the young ones are pleased.

Wonderful platform for a lucky child.

I too built one of these,,,good look’n trail table there jbveara, One think you will shortly find out from that table you built, shall become the center for all kind of activity of other kinds of toy’s, finding fun thing to do. “Lookie here at this” is one of the expressions that they will try to show what is the lates and greatest of their worlds discoverys.
