This is one of my most favourite projects I’ve done so far. I recycled some nice maple veneer plywood and used it for the box. Everything else is solid fir that I milled and planted onto the box, keeping the rough characteristics. I’ve never done an arched top before, but this turned out great. It took some time to sand it all nice and round, straps included, but I managed to get the look I was going for. I will definitely be making more of these in the future!
